Dr. Robert Weiss has over 15 years of experience as a veterinarian, focusing on a small animal practice.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA and went on to complete his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. Upon graduation, he underwent rigorous training in a one-year rotating internship in internal medicine and surgery with VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.
In 2007 he joined the 24 hour emergency care facility, VCA Yorba Regional Animal Hospital, where he practiced as an associate and eventually became the medical director in 2021.
His areas of special interest are surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, and ultrasonography.
Dr. Weiss loves spending time with his wife, his two sons, and of course his two troublemaking Boston Terriers, Samantha and Sophia. He is a huge Dodgers, Lakers, and Rams fan. When he’s not playing with his patients he likes to golf, crossfit and eat too much.
